Black Lotus launched in Fort Greene, Brooklyn in Summer 2009. Started

by tattoo specialist and enthusiast Jaz, with over 15 years experience

in the art of tattooing. Along with well inked photographer John

Walder and tattoo adorned Shaun R Jenkins, a fellow entrepreneur with

the goal of opening a community space. That would allow those

interested in getting custom ink as well as a space to host various

art exhibits and galleries. Located at 212 Greene Avenue, it is easily

accessible by train or bus.
